The Subcommittee Chairman is Senator Robert Casey (D-PA) and the Ranking Member is Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) The Subcommittee has jurisdiction over a wide range of issues including Head Start, child care and child support such as the Child Care & Development Block Grant, the Family Medical Leave Act, National Service, women and children’s healthcare, and other issues involving children, youth, and families.

The Subcommittee Chairman is Senator John Hickenlooper (D-CO) and the Ranking Member is Senator Mike Braun (R-IN). The Subcommittee has jurisdiction over a variety of employment issues including workforce education and training, worker health and safety, wage and hour laws, and workplace flexibility.

Primary Health & Retirement Security

The Subcommittee Chairman is Senator Ed Markey (D-MA) and the Ranking Member is Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-KS). The Subcommittee has jurisdiction over a wide range of issues including: Health Resources and Services Act, substance abuse and mental health, oral health, health care disparities, railroad retirement, private retirement plans and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation through the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), and the domestic activities of the Red Cross.
