Alexander Statement on Selection of Patrick Pizzella to Serve as Deputy Secretary of Labor

WASHINGTON, June 20 — Senate labor committee Chairman Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) today made the following statement after President Trump selected Patrick Pizzella to serve as the Deputy Secretary of Labor:

“As the current Acting Chair of the Federal Labor Relations Authority and a former Assistant Secretary of Labor under President George W. Bush, Mr. Pizzella’s work experience makes him well qualified for this role. I look forward to a fair and prompt nomination process.”
