WASHINGTON – Today, the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee voted to approve two of President Trump’s nominees to serve at the National Labor Relations Board and the National Endowment for the Arts. “These nominees are crucial to advancing President Trump’s pro-worker, pro-family agenda,” said Dr. Cassidy. “As Chairman of the HELP Committee, I am committed to getting President Trump’s team in place as quickly as possible.”

Mr. Mayer was advanced by a party-line vote of 12-11 and Ms. Carter was advanced by a 14-9 vote. Both nominations will now move to the Senate floor for a final vote at a later date.
